Architecture, design and art characterize the construction of the brise soleil pavilion of the Piccolo Mondo restaurant, located in the Berici Hills, in the province of Vicenza.
The idea that inspired the architecture comes to life from the force of the sea waves. The organicity of the sinuous, soft and unpredictable forms define an irregular pattern between full and empty spaces. The pavilion is made with large wooden beams that support themselves, made with advanced milling and carving techniques.
The result is a place where lights and shadows caress the surrounding nature and the old meets the new. All this blends into an architecture that celebrates the construction technique and the architect’s creative flair.
